TMNT 3... think this is the first film without the henson puppets which is why they all look a little different and occasionally human eyes can be seem peering through beneath the Turtles' masks.

This film is nice, and does not feel like a cash in like Secret Of The Ooze did as in 1993 the Turtles' popularity had began to fade away into the deep, dark, depths of the sewers... However this was the first of the films to have an accompaning toyline. It still is very much a family affair, but this time with the return of Casey Jones (although not really needed) and Corey Feldman voicing again. Paige Turco is back as April...

The story is not awful. Unlike the second in the series this tries to relate to the comic book series by introducing the use of the Time Sceptre...

However the story is nothing like that of the original comics.

The film is nothing special as far as films go. If you're not a fan of the Turtles then you are going to enjoy certain aspects of it. This movie is still enjoyable and in my opinion better than the second...

Only wish the film makers, even those today would be brave enough to add some believable violence to the TMNT movie universe... Leonardo has katana, and uses them in combat, in the comics enemies would lose limbs, in the 2003 animated series Shredder lost his head (although that was later explained poorly) but in the movie universe he just waves it about and it does no damage whatsoever.
