Review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) by Matty L — 05 Jun 2015
In a series reboot, a CGI Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is presented to appeal to the younger generation. As a huge fan of the original, and with Michael Bay attached, I had no choice, but to enter this film cautiously.
The film turned out to be an absolute train wreck with sub-par action, poor pacing, and really not even a good introduction to the characters. The film had none of the charm of the original, and although tried to capture the personalities of each turtle, it did so poorly.
Shredder was introduced quite early and too looked disappointing. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles suffers all the components of a remake that can be thought of.
