A film directed by Matthew Bright and starring Michael Reilly Burke and Boti Ann Bliss. Ted Bundy is about the notorious serial killer and sexual psychopath as he begins his killing spree of many young women in the 1970's.

Bundy is portrayed as a perverted and calculating man within the first few minutes of the film as we witness him scouting young girls with a sadistic glare while on his way to his college psychology class.

As we follow Bundy journeying deeper into his downward spiral of perversion and violence, we witness him commit several acts of sexual sadism and shocking brutality. His spiral begins with the peeping of a girl as she undresses in her home, and then it escalates into him attacking women, kidnapping them, raping them, and eventually killing them.

Ted Bundy is an intriguing character in the world of abnormal psychology because he seems to have had a jekyll and hyde personality. He was sweet and charming towards some people while he was sadistic and violent towards other.

For example, he always treated the daughter of his girlfriend like she was an angel, while he was rather cruel towards the girlfriend who continued to love him even as he acted in a very cruel manner with her.

He insults her at times and in one disturbing scene he ties her up and asks her to play dead during sex while he verbally abuses her. She agress to subject herself to this because she was in love with him and wanted to make him happy, which is very sad to watch.

This film isn't really an exploration into Bundy's origins or his backstory that originally caused his psychotic behavior, but it is primarily an exploration of his crimes and his behavior. The scene where Bundy is shown having sex with one of his "groupies" in prison is quite interesting and disturbing because it showed how there are other troubled people in the world who actually admire people like Bundy and are influenced by him.

Michael Reilly Burke does an excellent job of portraying the brutal madman, showing both sides of his personality. He effectively portrays the charming side of Bundy and also the sadistic side. To say the least, Burke is very memorable as this frightening individual.

Boti Ann Bliss is sweet and innocent as Bundy's girlfriend, Lee. This film is made by a director named Matthew Bright, who made a film called Freeway with Kiefer Sutherland and Reese Witherspoon. Bright holds nothing back here.

He puts on display some of Bundy's most vile acts and nearly every scene in this film is unsettling. Ted Bundy is a captivating and highly disturbing drama that everyone fascinated with psychology and serial killers should see.

It's a fearless film about the limitless abyss that can exist within anyone. This is a great little indie film about the crimes of one of the most frightening and fascinating killers in American history.
