Review of Tears of the Sun (2003) by Clive G — 12 Sep 2011
A top-notch, heart-wrenching action film that had a much better story line than Bruce Willis' other action films. Definitely not Oscar worthy performances, but the theme of compassion is nice to see in a movie like this. It's good vs. evil, but it's not the typical "kill the insane, evil bad guy". This was about the gruesome events that occurred in that country and the group of SEALS who wanted to do something about that.
I loved the quote at the end "â~The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.".
