Review of Tears of the Sun (2003) by Christine B — 01 Feb 2016
We found this movie to be pretty poor. The character development was poor. About 2/3 of the way through the movie my teen son realized we didn't even know the names of most of the characters. The love story part of the plot was smarmy and there was excessive gratuitous foul language that did not contribute to tone or story.
We kept hoping this movie would improve to justify it's decent rating, but sadly, it never did.
