Ah. America. Assholes of the Earth. That if you opposed America's invasion of the Middle East or if you're like that six years ago.

This week's release of Four Lions show how stupid terrorists are and would do anything to blow up people in mass numbers. But in my review, let's think about Team America.

Team America was made by the guys who gave us South Park in which I was an absolute huge fan of. In South Park, they make fun of things that... just had happened and various celebrities we're sick of hearing like Mel Gibson or Bono (hopefully the next episodes would make fun of Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson together for that matter). But in this case Team America poke at celebrities, terrorism and Asians or as I like to call it South Park: Thunderbirds and that's the same.

It's about Team America, who brand themselves in red, blue and white and all they do is stop terrorists even though they had succeeded in destroying everything they think the terrorist is situated. One member get killed and the Team's leader Spottswoode hire a Broadway actor named Gary. He wasn't sure if he was up to protecting the world from terrorists, but falls in love with member Lisa. Meanwhile the FAG (Film Actors Guild) decided to stop the Team from destroying everything when they capture terrorists, but the main person to stop is actually North Korea's president Kim Jong Il who sound more like an evil Cartman and a stereotypical Asian.

IF there was a movie that has a story, mocks pop culture (well in this case political culture) and delivers us crude humour offending us and made us laugh without any reason, Team America is it.

The dialogue sound so cheesy, there's almost a certain amount of cliches coming with the soft music and people going Commando, and the explosions so defening. There's no amount of logic on why they destroy things or how Gary makes everyone cry with his song Everybody has AIDS. The body count is enormous, the marrionettes are almost handled in almost dodgy ways with difficulties with them walking and fighting, they have no facial expression at all except for Kim Jong Il who faces move via his huge eyebrows. And to conclude this... I actually enjoyed it.

I've been waiting to see what Team America had offer because I was a huge fan of South Park and this is it. It is high on the laughs-per-minute ratio simply on the amount of crude humour and how the dialogue is almost crude with the huge dose of profanity and a life lesson that is almost stupid, it's still funny.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone would have a reputation on creating a fuss against left-wing personalities and they have done it. The characters of the FAG movement are almost outstanding with names like Alec Baldwin, Sean Penn, George Clooney, Samuel L. Jackson, Liv Tyler and Matt Damon being mocked at because of how they opposed the war.

The biggest problem is what kind of message is this showing us. There'll be more terrorist attacks, how dumb celebrities are when it comes to politics or how stupid the audience are. It's the movie I just don't get, more misunderstanding than this bizzare sex scene that almost going in almost stupid ways. It's either that it had been little research and so so so...

Team America. Such a guilty pleasure, goddamn it. And I had to ask: which celebrities do you think should be shown in South Park?
