Review of Team America: World Police (2004) by Joanne H — 28 Jan 2012

I remember turning this movie off the one time I tried to watch it. But, well, Iâ(TM)ve changed a lot, so I was willing to give it another go. Would I make it through a half an hour into the movie? Or would I have to walk out before I even finished my popcorn? As it turns out, I sat through the whole damn thing.

I must have laughed till I cried at least five times during this movie. Had to close my eyes for parts of the sex scene, but managed eyes wide open for the whole of the barf scene. Arenâ(TM)t you proud of me? And what about the music in the movie? I just have to learn some of those songs, especially, âIâ(TM)m so ronereeâ?. This movie aimed to poke fun at America and the puppet approach totally worked for me. If you donâ(TM)t like movies full of obscenities, you definitely wonâ(TM)t like this one. Be warned.
