Review of Team America: World Police (2004) by Sean C — 28 Dec 2012

Films from Matt Stone and Trey Parker are usually more enjoyable if you A. enjoy their kind of humour and B. agree with their politics because one thing's for sure, if Matt & Trey did the movie, it's likely filled with social and political opinions and plenty of bizarre/gross jokes. Team America is no different. Combining the awesome puppet styles of old shows like Thunderbirds with plenty of non-PC humour, it manages to satire everything from action movies, to the war on terror, from the attitudes of Hollywood to the attitudes of Americans in general. If they can make fun of someone or something... they do.

This film isn't for everybody, but I sure enjoyed it.
