Review of Teaching Mrs. Tingle (1999) by Heshani U — 25 Mar 2008
I hadn't watched this before because it was pretty widely panned when it was a new release. There wasn't much on last night, so I decided to give it a try. The stars I gave this movie are solely for Helen Mirren's acting and the attractive eye candy.
The plot had virtually no redeeming qualities. I guess if you really hate teachers you might like the ending, but the screenwriter takes pains to humanize Mrs. Tingle before raining on her parade in the end where we have a win-lose situation.
