We must work to protect our people but ALSO OUR PRINCIPLES! So true. There has to be a better way. What our soldiers were commanded to do was wrong. Hopefully with a new President and cabinet, policies will change.
I fear to think what hatred we have instilled in those who were not terrorists going into to GTMO or any of the other torture camps. And yes, it was torture. And no, I don't believe anything justifies it.
There must be a balance; we cannot sacrifice our morality; we must not stoop to any terrorist's level.
