Wonderfully written, superbly acted, and of course beautifully directed; what less would we expect from the great Martin Scorsese? Goodfellas taught us that senseless violence and selfishness will only leave you in a ditch; Taxi Driver teaches us that standing up for the right things selflessly, even if it takes violence, is always the right thing to do.
This refreshingly humanistic film will restore your faith in humanity.
