Review of Taxi Driver (1976) by Luke O — 07 Jun 2016
Scorsese manages to deliver what just might be his best film ever and De Niro, his best performance. This multilayered film delves into the hurt mind of its protagonist and takes you on a twisted ride that never lets you go.
This aesthetically pleasing, albeit haunting film left me as empty and lonely as Its protagonist Travis Bickle, yet the moment the credits rolled, all I wanted to do was watch it again.
