Robert Deniro gives a haunting performance as loner Travis bickle, jodie foster delivers an excellence performance in her breakthrough role, add that with a beautifuly written script by Paul schrader and Martin Scorseses excellent directing and you have a rewatchable classic that is still just as compelling today as it was in 1976.
