Review of Taxi Driver (1954) by Ken S — 23 Feb 2014
Often regarded as Scorsese's masterpiece (or one of them), I can't say that this is my favorite film he has made. That said, I must admit that my opinion on this one have changed a lot since I first watched it.
I realize now that this is a good film (I initially didn't quite get it, or think it was too great, but I think I was too young to fully appreciate it), with an interesting premise and a great performance from DeNiro, as well as some great direction from Scorsese.
This classic has earned it's reputation, and it should definitely be watched by all fans of film.
