It's every bit as relevant now as it was thirty-eight years earlier -- since then, we've had quite our fill of mass shooting incidents, running the gamut from the Marc Lepine incident of 1989 to the more recent fiasco in Isla Vista -- due to its telling, bold statement on the human condition and our given impulses for misanthropy, experienced on a scale similar to Travis's own.
