Review of Taxi (2004) by After R — 28 Jul 2008
Taxi was simplistic, cheesy and would have been funnier had the laughs not been so few and far between. The writing of this movie was absolutely atrocious which was only highlighted by the poor acting done by its cast.
Tim Story (director, Barbershop) should have been able to notice that the chemistry between Latifah (Chicago) and Fallon (Feverpitch) seemed forced as it did with most of the characters that appeared on screen.
This film is nothing better than a time filler to a boring afternoon that would never seem to end otherwise.
