Review of Tarzan and the Mermaids (1948) by Paul D — 07 Dec 2013
The final Weissmuller Tarzan and sadly its a poor one. Tarzan films are at their strongest when he calls upon the animal kingdom to help out. But not one rampaging elephant, no fights with lions or crocodiles and even Cheetah takes a back seat, and he looked younger than when he started the series.
Instead we are introduced to guitar playing and singer Benji who is annoying beyond belief.
