Review of Tarzan and His Mate (1934) by Trent M — 11 Oct 2008
I think this sequel is just as entertaining as the original. The sexual innuendo is more pronounced (we even get a nude swimming scene), and it definitely delivers plenty matinee action, culminating in a nice finale where we have Tarzan and Jane fighting their way through a horde of lions.
There's even a bit of emotion going on in this one. Cheetah loses a friend, and a poor little elephant is sacrificed. :(.
