Review of Tarzan (1999) by Jiana W — 16 Aug 2011
One of the last 2D movies from the "Disney Renaissance" era of the 90s. Tarzan is a lot of fun for the family. I think boys and girls would enjoy the humor and the action. The vine-swinging and tree-surfing was derived from watching professional skateboaders in the vert ramp as well as surfers, so just knowing that made the film even cooler to me.
The animation is wonderful and, after seeing the Christopher Lambert "Tarzan" movie from the 80s, I would definitely say this one has it beat by a million miles.
