Review of Tarnation (2003) by Robert C — 17 Aug 2008
I found this documentary to be a little exploitive and self-absorbed. Jonathan's dealings with his mother almost seem like an after-thought following the first hour of the film which is comprised of a hodge-podge of short films and soliloquies by a young Jonathan.
As a documentary, this film fails to be impartial and ends up only serving as a narcissistic experiment in which Jonathan can talk about a subject that is near and dear to his heart, himself.
