Review of Tarnation (2003) by Chase J — 07 Nov 2007
Many people think this is just a pretentious vehicle for Jonathan Caouette to profit off exploiting his family and flaunting his narcisism. I find it to be a truly inspirational and endearing experiment that is ultimately meant to uplift and inspire the viewer.
It truly touched, as well as haunted me. I think it's a major achievement in queer cinema and hope Caouette continues to make films. Be it on his computer or with a cast and crew.
