You will never see another film like this again and if you do it will pale in comparison. The accuracy of the story is debatable but really besides the point. I don't know how much influence Gus Van Sant had with the film as a producer but I found the aesthetic and narrative result of the lo-fi equipment and materials to be fiercely imaginitive and refreshing.
