Review of Targets (1968) by Jim M — 02 Mar 2009
Boris Karloff's swang song sadly. For what its worth Karloff does a good job as the aging horror star out of place in the modern world of the 1960's. Hell Tim O'Kelly is good as the sniper (inspired by Charles Whitmen).
The problem is that the two story lines never mesh well making the film feel schizophrenic. Just as you get into one story, it switches to the other. Still worth catching on cabal if only to see Boris Karloffs last good performance.
