Review of Tapeheads (1988) by Pearl W — 08 Sep 2004
Just made the move here from livejournal. I like it much better. Mostly because it's movie-centered, and doesn't have any other crap I don't care about. Who gives a shit what song I'm listening to while I write this?

And I can change the font so easily. Yes, much more user friendly. I like this a lot more. .
Trying out different fonts now. What do you think of this one? Or this? I kind of like Georgia. .
I gave "Tapeheads" a 10 because, even though the film tries too hard and still misses the oddball satiric tone it aims for, it shows Tim Robbins at his most adorable. Even production designer Catherine Hardwicke cooed "aww... baby Tim" on the DVD commentary when he removes his glasses in the movie for the first time. Yes, he looks that cute..
"Tapeheads" also stars John Cusack. You forget that Tim's height (6'4") makes everyone else look short, even Cusack at 6'2"..
