Review of Tape (2001) by Tom S — 24 Nov 2009

Great cast, especially hawke and thurman whose chemistry is wonderful. Mostly, the script is brilliant - deep emotional drama, fascinating to watch unravel to reveal the dark sides of the characters it portrays.

I think I would have enjoyed seeing it on stage as a play, as originally written. It would have been even more powerful, besides, it takes place in one location - an ugly motel, not something that's visually cinematic.

I'd love to see this on stage.
