Sylvester Stallone, check. Kurt Russell, check. Jack Palance having the time of his life double check. L.A.'s two top cops are framed by a shadowy crime lord and sent to prison, break out and return to bust heads.

Stallone is Tango, the white collar cop, Russell is Cash the blue collar one (think odd couple with guns) and play well off each other. I was laughing for most of this (a good thing). As good as they are, and some kick ass action scenes (2 in the prison and the assault with an armored van complete with minigun on Palances hyideout) its Jack Palances crime boss Yves Perret who steals the show, chewing on every bit of scenery he's given and obviously having a ball doing it.

Great film to unwind with, especially if your in te mood for something light. And oh yeah career criminal turned author/actor Eddie Bunker (aka Mr. Blue from Resevoir Dogs) shows up as a police Capt. just to show you how serious the movie takes itself.
