Review of Tango & Cash (1989) by Darren B — 10 Jun 2009
In a macho pairing of manly proportions Sly and Russell team up to save a winy and annoying Teri Hatcher with a grade-A Hollywood ending. A strangely suited and spectacled Stallone combines wits with the usual clad Kurt Russell and its not long until bullets fly and things blow up.
Atop an obligatory 80â??s soundtrack the pair hit or miss cracks at humor and odd one-liners. These don't overshadow Russellâ??s misplaced cross-dressing scene which itself fortunately doesn't distract from the films definition of awesome and fun.
