Review of Tangled (2010) by Lisa F — 07 Feb 2015
Saw this in 3D a couple of months back and let me tell ya it was THE BEST ANIMATED FILM FROM DISNEY BY FAR. LOVE IT x5.
Rapunzel dreams of seeing the floating lights and she meets a man named Flynn Rider who stumbles across her tower. The two don't get along at first but they start to fall in love as they spend some time together. Mandy Moore was brilliant in this movie she was very good as the singing and speaking voice of Rapunzel,Zac Levi(who I never heard of until now)was hilarious as the rogue theif who has a heart of gold.
The movie itself was brilliant as I mentioned before as the animation is beautiful, the music was really good(I see the light was my fav song from the movie),as well as the instrumental pieces(The Tear heals which made me cry). The voice casting was brilliant and the finale was sad yet heartwarming. Little girls or adults will adore this film and rave about it non stop, boys might like it as its got plenty of action in it.
Spoiler ahead!!!!!!!
One scene though that was really distrubing was the part where Eugene gets stabbed to death and dies but he comes back from the dead again and Rapunzel is actually a brunette.
Having said that I want to say DISNEY WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS. (claps hands) finally a movie that doesn't contain irritating charcthers,or annoying talking animals.
If you love Shrek(animated is the same as Shrek),Anastasia(bad boy falls for a girl who's actually the lost princess),Stardust(hated that movie but it contains a woman who steals a girl for her youth),The Little Mermaid(the boat scene is very smilar)and Beauty & the Beast(death scene is very identical to BatB)then you will definetly love this movie.
10/10 magnificent movie that everyone should own on DVD or blu-ray. Fantastic I love it so darn much as well as Enchanted (which knocked out of the no #1 spot of my all time favourite movies).
