To me it seemed more than a comedy about transgender people. it is a potrait about a life, a world within los angeles I never saw. the personalities of this story are morally so different from everything I would call "normal".
but at the same time I never lost sympathy for what they do, because in their environment it seemed perfectly plausible, and authentic.
