Review of Tangerine (2015) by David L — 26 Dec 2015
Tangerine does have a weaker first half with too quick pace, unlikable characters at first and annoying score, but the second half is anything but as the score is better, the pacing slows down and the characters get much development and become really likable with the sweet relationship between the two protagonists at the center of the film being the highlight.
It is also superbly well acted, shot and directed and it has a big heart and some laughs as well. It is unique and new, but also so heartwarming in the end and such a pleasant surprise.
