Review of Tampopo (1985) by Jesse D — 22 Jan 2010
One of my favorite movies. It's random, idiosyncratic, funny, sad in turns. The basic premise is that a truck driver agrees to train a widow to be one the best ramen chefs in Japan. With many side stories on the role of food in life and how food and sex are intertwined.
