Review of Tammy (2014) by George D — 11 Dec 2014
Melissa McCarthy delivers her usual style of comedy in her newest film Tammy. After losing her job and discovering that her husband's been having an affair, Tammy leaves home and takes off on a road trip.
While McCarthy is able to deliver some laughs, by-and-large her routine is rather worn-out; as she's playing the same old character that she always does. And, the plot is pretty pointless, with little being accomplished.
Unfortunate, Tammy doesn't really know what it wants to do and ends up meandering aimlessly.
