Not nearly the train wreck it was reported to be, but there's really no reason to watch it either. More of an aimless drama than anything else, Melissa McCarthy is still as likable as ever throughout.

I think the real discord was caused by audiences expecting (rightly, considering the lead actor and trailer) another whacky McCarthy comedy, and instead were presented with a middling, somewhat heavy dramedy.
