Review of Tamara Drewe (2010) by Rachelandjohn D — 16 Feb 2012
A well made British film set in quintessential rural Dorset. An adulterous well known writer and his long-suffering wife live within a sleepy idyllic village, and entertain other writers during the holidays who stay as part of a retreat.
When a familiar but transformed face returns to the village emotions are stirred and life will never be the same for some! A good film with a good cast, just perhaps a bit too twee in places for me.
