Before there was Howard Stern, there was Petey Greene. This funny, poignant picture features an award-worthy performance from Don Cheadle. Some will say the third act breaks down into typical bio-pic melodrama.
..and it does...but here the characters are set up so strongly in the beginning that I go with it. Maybe they shouldn't have ended it with Petey's funeral. Instead maybe with the infamous Howard Stern visit on his show - a kind of passing the torch.
