This was my first Pedro Almodovar experience, and I am eager to seek his entire catalog. Some may look at this heartfelt feature as immoral for the subtlety of condoning rape, but it's plainly a film which pierces the soul by measures of love and obsession.

The story itself is super complicated - so i'll just say that a female bull-fighter and a news publisher's love intersect the love that a desperate and socially-awkward nurse obsessively seeks at a young woman he's been creepily following - and they intersect by means of both women falling into a coma by some way or another.

The story unfolds sincerely, but in a well-orchestrated division of shuffling time and character interactions through separate acts, as if the film were a play - and ironically, the film is decorated by a passion for theater and dance.

'Talk To Her' is inevitably one of the decade's very best and emotionally-magnetic pieces.
