Review of Talk Radio (1988) by Mike H — 31 Jul 2010
Coincidently I must have watched all of Oliver Stone's bad movies first... this is the second great one in a row. Talk radio, a subject that could be immobile, is filmed exquisitely and dramatically here, and it might be the only Stone movie that isn't overly political and ignorant as hell.
The plot is dark, negative, and a little overwhelming, but it never stops being a fine example of solid storytelling and camera work.
