Review of Talk Radio (1988) by Frank J — 26 Aug 2006

A marvelous epic, Oliver Stone has once again uncontrollably gripped me into a state of astonishment. This movie was fantastic, it made me angry, it made me sad, and it made me laugh and put me into certain states of shock at moments, it was masterful, beautifully executed with a fantastic, gripping and 100% believeable performance from Eric Bogosian.

I felt such a strong emotional connection between me and Bogosian's character the state of manner and extent to which he expresses himself as the the late night talker and to what great lenghts and torment he subjects himself to with the cold cruel world out there in wait, it was so strong, I don't even think I blinked once during this film, I dunno how Oliver Stone does it, not once not for a second not for 1 moment have I ever been sent into a form of boredom or confusion with his films and this one is no different, I think I can finally come to the conclusion that Oliver Stone is one of the ruling masters of cinema.
