Review of Tales from the Crypt (1972) by Brandon S — 09 Dec 2009
Classical stylish horror anthology from England is very well paced. The film is broken up into five tales that are all quite different and seem to progressively get better as the picture builds. This is the original Tales From the Crypt film made well before the TV series or the spin off films and is by far the best.
The acting throughout is spot on and the gore is surprisely on the shocking side for an early British horror film. Followed by Vault of Horror.
