Review of Tales from the Crypt (1972) by Bill T — 08 Apr 2010
So far, this is the best Amicus compilation yet, only one of the stories really blows (It's the one with Peter Cushing as the custodian, and his next door neighbor who tries to get rid of him), but all the other ones are great, I really love the first one, where Joan Collins kills her husband on Christmas Eve, only to be stalked by a psychotic Santa (maybe a tiny bit of a weak ending, but oh well) The salute to the Monkey's Paw was downright hilarious, and the film ends up with a very strange and bizarre tale of the residents of a hospital for blind people getting revenge on a mean ol'' head person.
A great show all in all, and would highly reccomend this one!
