Review of Taking Woodstock (2009) by Nicholas F — 20 Dec 2009
Okay, I just wacthed this movie last night on demand so its still fresh in my mind. The movies is based on the memoirs of Elliot Tiber played by Dimitri Martin, so the comedy for the most part is pretty dry.
But if you watch the movie with a more serious approach then you can really get the full effect. The movie is filled with great characters, my favorite being Dan Fogler's.The story is a bit slow at some points but it holds its weight.
And the entire movie is completly worth the wait when you see an "acid tripped" version of Woodstock at the very end. Overall a decent movie to watch when you have nothing to do. It will go over well with fans of the concert and music.
