Review of Taking Woodstock (2009) by Sonja B — 23 Feb 2010
I was expecting a lot more from this movie, it has a great cast. But it really fell flat. The writing sucks and the direction is truly terrible. I thought that Demetri Martin at the very least guaranteed a funny movie, but not at all.
The story is the retelling of a true story. Its about how they set in motion the defining woodstock of 1969. The movie is just terrible and I split the blame, half-and-half, between the director and the writers.
