Profoundly moving for anyone who has lost a friend or loved one to a war--even those who have never served in battle themselves. This film renders the human side of war vivid as few others ever have--horrible, painful, raw, AND emotionally engaging.
For all its flaws, the military understands how to invest the shattering reality of war casualties with dignity, and "Taking Chance" captures that spirit perfectly.
