I'm glad it wasn't a straight to DVD movie. Why though? I can't pinpoint the reason exactly. Maybe it was the way the audience (and myself occasionally) cheered or bemoaned at some of the movie's key moments, or just that it's been a long time coming for a heist movie.
I'd say see it, but only if you can identify most of the main actors in real life (Hayden Christensen, Chris Brown, T.I., Michael Ealy, Idris Elba, Matt Dillon). Otherwise, you probably won't think that this movie is anything special.
