Not as bad as the ratings. I liked the movie. I think the ratings suffer because people compare it to the first and/or second one. Sure, it's not as good as the first. But, it's definitely not terrible.
If you like action movies and the characters from Taken & Taken 2, you'll enjoy Taken 3. Give it a shot!
