Taken 3 was not about being taken but rather a series of clues to try to find who killed Liam Neeson's wife. The action sequences weren't well edited and the script was not strong unlike the previous two.
Hopefully this is the end of the trilogy. I heard a tv series will be coming in 2017. Don't bother with this one.
