Taken 2.

If you liked the first Taken movie, this one is a must-see as it is packed with even more action than the first. Liam Neeson is back in this film which features some of the best acting of his career. This action thriller is sure to have you at the edge of your seat and in suspense throughout the entire duration of the movie. This is one of the finest action thrillers of all time due to the outstanding acting by Liam Neeson, the cinematography, and the production.

The acting in this film by Liam Neeson is exceptional. Liam Neeson has been one of the top male actors for the last two decades or so and he shows why in this film. He plays the role of Bryan Mills who is a retired CIA agent who is taken hostage along with his wife, Lenore Mills (Famke Janssen). He truly seems like he's a retired CIA agent as he out-thinks the kidnappers and does the impossible in almost every situation. He makes it seem as though the events are really happening, as if it's real life, through the tone of his voice, his actions, and his overall depiction of the character. I don't think the producers could have chosen a better actor to play the role of Bryan Mills.

Whether its Mills' daughter running along rooftops to escape the kidnappers or the hand-to-hand combat between Mills and the kidnappers, the cinematography during every scene in the film is prestigious. Romain Lacourbas did an excellent job with the cinematography just as he did in his first action/thriller movie, Colombiana. The way that the camera views are throughout the fight scenes make it look very real. Lacourbas makes it seem as though you're part of the fights and chases and you just can't take your eyes off the screen.

The overall production of this movie is outstanding. Producer Luc Besson and director Olivier Megaton produced one of the best action/thrillers of all time with Taken 2. They created a plot that is relatively easy to follow and an excellent script to go along with it. It is nice that they produced it in a way that you don't necessarily have to have seen the first Taken to fully understand what's going on.

From the director, Olivier Megaton, the producer, Luc Besson, to actors Liam Neeson and Rade Serbedzija and actresses Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen, Taken 2 is truly one of the greatest movies of its kind. The final scene of the movie leaves you to believe that a third movie to the sequel may be possible. I don't know how they could produce a better movie than Taken 2, but I think bringing Neeson back to do a third movie would be great.
