Review of Taken 2 (2012) by Lester Y — 14 Jul 2013
Compared to the original taken this is actually much more visually alluring in terms of the lush scenery of istanbul, I mean they made paris look ugly as balls in that first movie. everything is a lot more chaotic and uninspired this time around and the action scenes are borderline unwatchable where the camera switches all spastic and transformers-like.
it's downright UGLY and eventually I stopped caring altogether and wanted it to end. plus it ends with that alex clare song to remind you of what a terrible year 2012 was for pop culture.
