Review of Take This Waltz (2011) by Kane M — 29 Jun 2012
Margot (Michelle Williams) is afraid of making connections in airports for fear of getting lost. This becomes a metaphor for her life as after 5 years of marriage to Lou (Seth Rogen) she ponders embarking on an affair with new neighbour Daniel (Luke Kirby).
While slow paced at times and at others filled with silly couple scenes where nothing happens, Take This Waltz is a decent outing for young director Sarah Polley's second effort, proving that she is one to watch in the future.
Michelle Williams is as always on top of her game as an actress and the film will surely clean up at the Genies come award season.
