Review of Take This Waltz (2011) by Elizabeth R — 07 Sep 2012

It treats the petty troubles of the dislikable main character a bit too seriously, and it takes far too long for the film to start going places. I think one of the problems was Michelle Williams, she is a great actress and this role should be suited for her, but my utter dislike and impatience for this character held her back, surprisingly; Seth Rogan was the actor who actually left an impression, the man can actually take serious roles as well.

Take this Waltz has some truly great moments and sequences, but as a whole, these parts don't really compensate.
